Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the General Medical/Surgical Unit (4B) on a part-time night shift. Work two 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45pm to 7:15am, with an every-third-weekend rotation; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is available.

All private rooms serve a middle to older adult population, including post-surgical patients, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois required.
• Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS Provider or Instructor certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for general medical/surgical patients including post-surgical cases.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Provide wound care, dialysis support, and education to patients and families.
• Utilize central lines, IVs and drainage devices per protocol.

This is a Part Time, Night Shift Position

Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts per week (6:45pm-7:15am), Every Third Weekend Rotation

Registered Nurse (RN) - General Medical/Surgical Unit (4B): All private rooms with mostly middle to older adult population. Nurses care for all types of medical patients, including post-surgical patients.
