Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical department. You will provide patient-focused care, perform plan of care interventions, document care, and collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes.

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, BCLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS; must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS and Handle with Care preferred and must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided and ensures timely documentation in the medical record.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates with the care team and family.

You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided. Performstimelyandappropriate documentationrelating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. PerformstimelyandaccurateQI assessments
