Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for inpatient and ED coverage in Illinois. The RN will collaborate with providers and care teams to coordinate patient care across the hospital 24/7. ICU experience is preferred and licensure in Illinois or Michigan is required.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $38.70–$57.78, plus a $15K sign-on bonus for eligible ICU nurses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association BLS required prior to start date.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by providing nursing care within the highest level of RN licensure.
• Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary teams for care coordination across the continuum.
• Assesses physical symptoms and provides psychological support to patients and families.
• Mentors assigned team members and participates in quality improvement and best practices.

Pay range for this position is $38.70 - $57.78/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

ICU experience preferred

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment

Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
