Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient/ED units in Illinois. The role focuses on care coordination, symptom assessment, psychological support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient wellness.

Eligible candidates have a current RN license in Illinois or Michigan, BLS, and preferred ICU experience. The hospital offers a $10K sign-on for qualified ICU nurses and a comprehensive benefits package from day one.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic Microsoft applications.

• Assess and support physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients and families.

Pay range for this position is $38.70 - $57.78/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

$10K Sign on Bonus (RN's with 2 years+ ICU experience are eligible)

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

ICU experience preferred

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)

Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment

Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
