OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU to care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case management to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan.
• BLS certification required prior to start date.
• BSN preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications basic proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Provide ICU care for high-acuity patients in collaboration with intensivists, respiratory therapy and pharmacy.
• Assess physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients, friends and families.
• Mentor and support assigned team members; promote best practices and safe, high-quality care.
• Operate in a 24/7 ICU setting and support a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

Pay range for this position is $34.25-51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Shift Differentials

• 3rd shift - $4.00/hour


• Weekends - $3.25/hour

$12,500-20,000 Sign-On Bonus

(New Grads: $12,500, 1+ Years of Experience: $20,000)

ICU Overview

Our Intensive Care Unit is looking for compassionate, critical-thinking nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a meaningful impact during some of the most vulnerable moments. In the ICU you will care for complex, high-acuity patients while working closely with intensivists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, case mangements and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Position Summary

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)


• Licensure/Certification: Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to a start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN


• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment


• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
