One year of medical/surgical experience is required along with an accredited RN program completion, California RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/NIH Stroke certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California is a 120 bed acute‑care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on‑site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family‑friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Their duties include care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. They will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospital's mission statement.
