Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA is a 120-bed acute-care hospital with specialized pediatric emergency services and on-site OB/GYN coverage. Staff Registered Nurses provide patient-centered care across the continuum, manage pain, invasive lines, and drains, and adhere to policy and core values within the UHS network.

Minimum one year in critical care; BSN preferred; California RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. May float to Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current California Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellence in patient care and collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs.

  • Float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Responsibilities

Southwest HealthcareRancho Springs Hospital inMurrieta, California, is a 120 bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers 24/7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. They will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Qualifications
Minimum Essential Experience

One (1) year experience in an critical care setting in an acute care facility.

BSN Preferred

Required Licensure / Certifications

Current California Registered Nurse license.

BLS certification.

ACLS certification

PALS certification

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
