Mercy is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg General Surgery 3W at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. This full-time night shift (7:00am–7:00pm) position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new grads or $20,000 for RNs with 1+ years of experience. Requires MO RN license or compact licensure and BLS.

Graduate nurses and seasoned RNs alike will participate in nursing process, care coordination, and patient advocacy while upholding Mercy values and confidentiality across care settings.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night 7:00am- 7:00pm

• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Graduate RNs
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for RNs with 1+ Years of Experience

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
