Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg General Surgery 3W on a night shift (7:00am–7:00pm). The role focuses on applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinating with departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications include MO RN license (or compact), ADN/ Diploma/ BSN, and BLS certification (or within 30 days). Sign-on bonuses of $10,000 for new grads and $20,000 for 1+ years experience are offered.

Qualifications

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night 7:00am- 7:00pm

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Certifications:

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred
• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience:Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
