Job summary

Hillsdale Hospital in Hillsdale, MI is seeking an LPN or Registered Nurse for day shifts in Skilled Nursing. The role features three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend. Shift premiums apply, including an additional $2.00/hour for 2nd shift and weekend premiums.

Additional uplift pay is offered for long-term care direct care work. Requirements include a high school diploma, Michigan LPN/RN license, and BLS; ACLS and TEAM certifications within one year are also required or provided

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Valid Michigan LPN or RN license.
• BLS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital), ACLS, and TEAM required within one year (also available through Hillsdale Hospital).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients' and residents' health and implements plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and members of the care team.
• Administers treatment, medications and IV solutions according to physician’s orders.
• Observes and evaluates symptoms and reactions to treatment; initiates corrective action if needed.
• Documents and maintains records and reports regarding nursing care provided.

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

• 6:45am - 7:15pm | three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend
• 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour | weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour
• Long-term Care direct care worker "uplift pay" is an additional $1.30/hour
