Job summary

Sovah Health - Danville, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical/Surgical days. The role offers a $20,000 sign-on eligibility and a standard 7A-7P, 3‑12 hour shifts schedule in person.

Qualifications include an associate degree in nursing and VA or compact state licensure; bachelor’s degree preferred and BLS certification. Experience in clinical areas is preferred. Hourly range: $33.31–$44.97.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

What We're Looking For

The right person who will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Applicants should have a current VA or compact state license. Associate's degree in nursing required.
