Job summary

Essentia Virginia Care Center in the United States seeks a registered nurse to organize and provide care to residents through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. You will delegate tasks to licensed nursing staff as appropriate and support the facility's mission and regulatory compliance.

Requires BSN or ADN and current RN licensure in the applicable state, plus BCLS within 1 month. FTE 0.8 with flexible D/E/N shifts including weekends; holidays required.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within 1 month.

Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
