Job summary

Greens at Weaverville in North Carolina is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide resident-centered care in a supportive team setting.

We offer a sign-on bonus of up to $12,000, flexible day and evening shifts, and full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. Our benefits include education support and opportunities for career growth within a caring community.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current NC RN or LPN license.
• Minimum of one year of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per resident's plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments; maintain documentation.
• Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes to the clinical team.
• Oversee daily nursing activities of Nursing Assistants as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver resident-centered care.
• Promote a safe, compassionate environment for residents, families and staff.

To be successful as an RN or LPN, you must have:

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program

• Current, active, and unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Current CPR Certification

• Minimum of one (1) year of Long-Term Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with each resident's individualized plan of care and within your scope of practice.

• Administer medications and treatments and maintain accurate documentation.

• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly communicate changes to the appropriate clinical team and attending physician.

• Support and oversee the daily nursing activities of Nursing Assistants as appropriate.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, resident-centered care.

• Promote a safe, compassionate, and respectful environment for residents, families, and team members.
