Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery in California. The role involves bedside care across pre-pregnancy complications, labor, delivery, and recovery, with cross-team collaboration including NICU, OR, ED, and Couplet Care.

Interpreting fetal monitoring and ensuring safety and clear communication are essential. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in L&D plus 1 year in NICU, postpartum, antepartum, ICU, OR, or ED; an active Arizona RN

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience and 1 year in NICU, postpartum, antepartum, ICU, OR, or ED.
• Active RN license in Arizona; BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification within required timeframes.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care during pre-pregnancy complications, labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Collaborate with NICU, OR, ED, and Couplet Care teams.
• Interpret fetal monitoring and respond to changes.
• Supervise and delegate patient care while ensuring safety, comfort, and effective communication.
• Participate in hourly rounding and follow evidence-based standards.
• May act as charge nurse or OB triage based on experience.
