Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in line with facility policies and philosophy. You will contribute to patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Florida nursing license, BLS, and 2 years acute care experience; ACLS/NRP/PALS/CPI as per start date. RN in IR setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Minimum 2 years in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification at hire.
• Active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/CPI as start date per unit requirements.

Job Overview

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.

General Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with the ability to work in Med/Surg/Tele and either ICU or PCU.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• Additional certifications required at start date or intrafacility transfer:
• All Nursing Units (except nursery): ACLS as of start date (New graduate RN's wtihin 90 days of start date)
• Women's Center: NRP as of start date (inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days of start date)
• ICU/PCU: NIH within 90 days of start date.
• ER: PALS, CPI within 90 days of start date, NIH within 90 days of start date.
• PACU: PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of start date.
