Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology. This PRN, varied schedule role requires acute care experience and Florida licensure. The nurse will provide patient-centered care, lead the healthcare team, and meet clinical certifications on start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with the ability to work in Med/Surg/Tele and either ICU or PCU.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License
• ACLS required at start date for all units (new grads within 90 days)
• NRP required for Women's Center at start date (new or inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days)
• NIH within 90 days for ICU/PCU; PALS/CPI within 90 days for ER; PALS for PACU when starting.

Job Overview:

  • ICU/PCU: NIH within 90 days of start date.
  • ER: PALS, CPI within 90 days of start date, NIH within 90 days of start date.
  • PACU: PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days of start date.
