Job summary

MedStar Health in Maryland is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse II to provide skilled, compassionate care across routine to complex patient needs. You will assess evolving conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans, coordinating with the nursing team as needed.

Eligible candidates have ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL, at least 1 year RN experience, and a current MD RN license or a Compact State license with BLS.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

We are currently looking for Experienced Intermediate Care or Critical Care Nurses. If you do not have IMC or Critical Care experience, you may be eligible for our Bridge Program, which starts in February 2027. We will begin interviews for the February 2027 Bridge Program in November.
