Job summary

Essentia Health Fargo is seeking Registered Nurses for the Intermediate Care and ICU Units. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour day/night shifts and an every 3rd weekend plus every holiday rotation. Building location is the 32nd Avenue Building.

Eligible candidates may receive a hiring incentive up to $7,500 for ADN or $10,000 for BSN. The department requires BSN/ADN, active nursing licensure, BCLS and ACLS within specified timelines. FTE is 0.9.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IMC/ICU experience preferred.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month.
• ACLS certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Education Qualifications

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• 1 year of IMC/ICU Experience Preferred
• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
