Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Western Massachusetts seeks a registered nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit. The role supports adult patients with moderate to severe conditions, delivering comprehensive nursing care, implementing care plans, and coordinating with the care team to meet patient needs.

You will work nights, 36 hours per week (7pm–7am), with every other weekend/holiday. Current MA RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS within 6 months. Compensation aligns with experience.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies, and interventions. What you will do:

In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
• Certification : BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience: Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred. Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.

Work Schedule

Full time, 36 hours 7pm-7am, Nights

Pay Range:

$42.61 - 67.06

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
