Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Western Massachusetts seeks a registered nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit. The role supports adult patients with moderate to severe conditions, delivering comprehensive nursing care, implementing care plans, and coordinating with the care team to meet patient needs.

You will work nights, 36 hours per week (7pm–7am), with every other weekend/holiday. Current MA RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS within 6 months. Compensation aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC); ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and participate in evaluating current and future medical needs of the patient.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
