Job summary

The MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a per diem basis. You will cover days, nights, and weekends, with FLEXIBILITY as the key requirement to meet patient and unit needs.

You will provide high quality nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes; collaborate with the care team, delegate as needed, and maintain good standing and BLS and state RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

This per diem RN would need to be able to cover days, nights, weekends - FLEXIBILITY is the key on this role!

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
