Job Summary and Qualifications

Our RNs provide clinical expertise and compassionate care. Our Surgical ICU cares for critically ill surgical patients with emergencies in the perioperative period, including preoperative, postoperative, and trauma injury management.

What you will do:

1. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments following standards of care and protocols.
2. Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to optimize outcomes.
3. Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff within your scope.
4. Provide education and emotional support, incorporating patient/family teaching.

Qualifications:

1. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 60 months.
2. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days.
3. Registered Nurse license and diploma.
4. Trauma Care or Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year.
