Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will document per Medicare guidelines, collaborate with the healthcare team, and adapt plans of care as patient needs change.

The role requires an Associate's in Nursing, 1+ year of nursing experience, and RN license with BLS. This full-time day shift covers occasional Kissimmee and Orlando locations as census requires, with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in acute or hospice care preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and patient documentation.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation per Medicare guidelines.

Schedule:

Full Time Shift: Day Shift 6:45 am-7:15 pm with every other weekend. Location: Altamonte Springs location but must be open to covering the Kissimmee and Orlando locations when census requires

Job Description:

Maintains accurate and thorough documentation per Medicare guidelines. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Participates in ongoing professional development and training. Assesses and reassesses patient needs regularly to provide appropriate care. Educates patients and families on plan of care and any changes to it. Delivers critical nursing care to patients with complex health issues. Manages end-of-life care issues with sensitivity and professionalism. Administers and manages medications accurately and safely. Other duties as assigned.
