Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking an ICU RN to join our team on a PRN basis. The role involves 12-hour shifts (days or nights) and requires availability for a minimum of 4 shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts and one major and one minor holiday per year.

This ICU unit includes CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma, with an open-heart program and STEMI receiving capabilities. You will work with a dedicated team and have access to intensivists on-site and Tele-ICU support at

Formación

• Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state with Arizona endorsement.
• BSN is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience.
• BLS certification required; TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, CCRN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Care for ICU patients with medications, ventilators, invasive monitoring, bedside procedures, rapid/CRs, trauma RED response.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, cath lab, OR, ED and other therapies.
• Educate patient and family, tailored to age, culture, and condition.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.

Our ICU unit is comprised of 16 beds including CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma (10-11 beds for CV/ICU Patients) with an open-heart program and STEMI receiving center.

How you'll contribute

ICU RN who excels in this role:

• Manage care of ICU level patients including all critical care medications, ventilators, invasive monitoring devices, bedside procedures, rapid response and code team response, trauma RED response, and all other critical care needs.

• Works professionally in collaboration with other departments such as respiratory therapy, cardiac cath lab, operating room, emergency department and all other therapies (PT, OT, ST).

• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

• Minimum of 1 year+ of ICU experience required

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and TNCC required with 6 months of hire

• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CCRN and Handle with Care preferred
