Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for our 16-bed ICU, including CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma services. The role offers a 3x12 schedule (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible candidates.

Applicants must hold an Arizona RN license with endorsement and an ADN; BSN preferred. Join a supportive team with on-site intensivists and Tele-ICU coverage, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of ICU-level patients including critical care meds, ventilators, invasive monitoring.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, cath lab, OR, ED and other therapies.
• Educate patients and families, advocate for patient well-being.
• Respond to rapid responses and codes as needed.

Join a Small Unit with a Variety of Patients!

Our Intensive Care Unit or ICU unit is comprised of 16 beds including CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma (10-11 beds for CV/ICU Patients) with an open-heart program and STEMI receiving center.

How you'll contribute

AICU RN who excels in this role:

• Manage care of ICU level patients including all critical care medications, ventilators, invasive monitoring devices, bedside procedures, rapid response and code team response, trauma RED response, and all other critical care needs.

• Works professionally in collaboration with other departments such as respiratory therapy, cardiac cath lab, operating room, emergency department and all other therapies (PT, OT, ST).

• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsementand possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

• Minimum of 1 year+ of ICU experience preferred

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and TNCC required with 6 months of hire

• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CCRN and Handle with Care preferred
