Join the Intensive Care Unit at Lincoln Hospital as a full-time, 36-hour day shift Charge Nurse and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing outstanding care for patients with complex and critical medical needs.

As the ICU Charge Nurse, you'll provide both clinical leadership and direct patient care while partnering with providers, nursing colleagues, respiratory therapists, care management, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. You'll coordinate daily unit operations, support patient flow, serve as a clinical resource for staff, mentor team members, and help foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to combine advanced critical care nursing skills with leadership responsibilities in a supportive community hospital environment. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary

The Registered Nurse - Charge - Acute Care role assumes the frontline leadership in the daily operations of the department and works collaboratively with departmental staff, physicians/advanced practice practioners, hospital staff, pre-hospital providers and community agencies to provide oversight and direction for the delivery of safe patient and family centered care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN's require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICU RN's require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  3. Experience: Three years of relevant experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
