Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU Cardiac unit on days in Carrollton, GA. The RN will provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a six-bed CVICU setting.

Position requires ACLS within 6 months of hire, Georgia RN license, CPR certification, and ICU experience. Shift is 12 hours (7a–7p) with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation, supporting open heart, vascular, or thoracic procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or multistate license
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) or obtained within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• ICU experience required

Job Description

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
