Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU nights PRN role. The RN will perform nursing functions, supervise other RNs and assistive personnel, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.

The shift is 12 hours from 7p to 7a with requirements for GA RN licensure, CPR, ACLS/NRP/PALS, and SCIPP per hire timelines. This is a PRN, on-site role with flexible night coverage.

Qualifications

• GA Registered Nurse License (or Multistate Nursing License) required.
• CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• NRP required within 1 year of hire.
• PALS required within 1 year of hire.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

• Healthcare Provider (CPR) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within on year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
