Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high‑acuity patients.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and accurately.
  • Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient condition.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient‑focused approach to care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCRN certification preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
