Job summary

Texas Health Flower Mound is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 12-bed merged ICU/IMC unit. This full-time days role offers 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday requirements.

You will care for a mix of ICU and intermediate patients in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Required: nursing diploma/associates, 1 year of clinical nurse experience, and RN license with BCLS; ACLS and CPI training preferred or to be completed shortly after hire.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in nursing required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1 year of clinical nurse experience required.
• Critical care experience preferred but not required.
• RN, BCLS, ACLS, CPI certifications expected on hire or within 90–120 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient safety, physical, psychological and social needs.
• Uphold human respect and dignity in care.
• Engage families in the care plan and decisions.
• Provide nursing care within ICU/IMC unit guidelines.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Here’s What You Need

• Diploma in Nursing required or
• Associate’s degree in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as a clinical nurse required
• Critical Care experience preferred but not required
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days Require
