Registered Nurse (RN) I - NICU - FT - Nights

Norman Regional Health System Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 25-bed Level III unit with a Neonatal Ground Transport Team. We focus on family-centered care. We have 5 Neonatologists on staff. Compensation and Benefits

• $27.84-$45.46/hr depending on experience
• Evening differential: $2.50/hr
• Night differential: $3.00/hr
• Weekend differential: $3.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Assessment and reassessment of patient health needs, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams as appropriate.
• Developing nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes based on assessments.
• Providing nursing care through interventions to meet patient needs, guided by evidence-based practices, regulations, and policies.
• Evaluating patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions.
• Evaluating discharge needs and planning care accordingly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Oklahoma RN license required.
• BLS certification required and must be maintained.
• New graduates must complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
