HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse - Hospice to plan, coordinate, provide, and document care for terminally ill patients from admission through discharge in the O'Fallon, IL area.

The role requires an Illinois RN license, a driver’s license, and willingness to travel within the service area; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Full-time, 36 hours per week with on-call weeks; a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for external candidates is offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program is required for licensure in state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, provide, and document care for terminally ill patients from admission to discharge.
  • Develop and implement a hospice plan aligned with orders, standards, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families; ensure documentation and compliance.
  • Travel within service area to patients’ homes as part of hospice care.
  • On-call responsibilities: 1 time per week and 1 time every 5th weekend.

Pay Range:$31.00 - $46.50A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.The Registered Nurse-Hospice is responsible for the planning, coordinating, providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge.
