Job summary

HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgery Discharge department. The role is daytime, full-time, with four 10-hour days (9am-7pm) or five 8-hour days (11am-7pm); weekends and holidays are closed.

The position supports patient discharge planning and care coordination within our hospital system. Qualified candidates must be licensed as an RN in the state, have or pursue a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and hold current BLS certification.

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
