Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Registered Nurse - Hospice for our Home Care, Hospice Care department in O’Fallon, IL. You will plan, coordinate, provide and document hospice care from admission to discharge, following physician orders and professional standards.
The role requires an Illinois RN license, BLS, and a willingness to travel within the service area. 1 year acute nursing experience and a BSN are preferred; multi-state licensure per NLC is allowed.
Pay Range: $31.00 - $46.50 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
The Registered Nurse-Hospice is responsible for the planning, coordinating, providing and documenting care for terminally ill patients from day of admission through day of discharge. Utilizing physicians' orders and professional skills, the Registered Nurse-Hospice develops and implements a hospice plan that meets each patient's specific needs and is in compliance with accrediting organization standards, federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines as well as the organization's policies and procedures.
