Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide in-home patient care in Rutherford County and surrounding areas. The RN will assess patients, deliver education to patients and families, and collaborate with the home health team to implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care and family teaching in the home setting.
• Perform patient assessments and contribute to the Plan of Care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and coordinate with the care team.

Overview

The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting one-on-one patient care and patient / family teaching in the home setting. The RN will perform patient assessments and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement a Plan of Care. Additional responsibilities include regular communications with our clinical management team and timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse educational program


• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice


• Clinical home health / OASIS experience preferred


• Current CPR certification


• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, collaboration, multi-tasking and time-management skills


• Strong initiative, follow through, process orientation, attention-to-detail


• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
