Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana South is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise nursing care on the unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, with emphasis on patient education and discharge planning.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and ACLS (ACLS within 90 days). Prior inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred. Opportunities for growth across PAM Health locations.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hospital's state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct and supervise nursing care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families for post-hospital care; facilitate access to community resources.
• May serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurse.
