Wages up to $49.25 per Hour, Based on Shift & Experience!

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to the standards of care, manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety, and supervises the care activities performed by nursing assistants and helpers. Follows all North Shore policies and procedures and complies with the State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards.

Requirements:
  • Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements as mandated by law
  • Positive, effective communication skills with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn company applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment; post-acute care experience preferred
