Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The position includes a generous sign-on bonus of $15,000 and competitive pay ranging from $36.41 to $49.00 per hour based on experience.

The RN will play a vital role in providing world-class inpatient care, ensuring patient assessments, documentation, and medical order management are carried out accurately. Comprehensive benefits include scholarships, a 401(k) retirement plan, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs.
• Ensure medical orders are processed accurately.
• Competent in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.

Minimum Qualifications
