Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Birmingham, AL, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time dayshift position. You'll play a central role in providing excellent, compassionate care to critically ill patients requiring extended recovery.

The position offers competitive compensation of $36.41 to $49.00 per hour, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 6 months.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform systematic patient assessments.
• Document using appropriate systems.
• Interpret diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Handle rapid response and code events.
• Instruct patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-time Dayshift - 7 am to 7:30 pm

Compensation: $36.41 to $49.00 per hour, based on experience

Competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.
