Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel inpatient on food and nutrition.
• Assess dietary needs and plan therapeutic diets for inpatients based on health concerns.
• Analyze effects of interventions and collaborate with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee and implement preparation and service of meals for patients in the hospital.
• Oversight of dietary staff and performance; ensure dietary department compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Ensure patients are served diets as ordered, following meal times and temperatures.

Job Requirements

• CurrentDietitian licensure required in state of practice
