Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Macomb in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am). The role includes admissions, assessments, and charting with a strong emphasis on patient safety and education.

A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with competitive night/weekend shift differentials and a pathway for advancement. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license and BLS; ACLS required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
