Select Specialty Hospital in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts at the Critical Illness Recovery Hospital. The role includes admissions processing, patient assessments, and accurate documentation.

The hospital offers a strong orientation, ongoing education, and a clinical ladder to advance skills as you care for chronically ill post-ICU patients. We provide a $15,000 sign-on bonus, pay up to $52.00 per hour (experience-based), and night/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• RN experience in acute or post-ICU settings preferred.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Accurate and timely documentation in clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpretation of assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
