Job summary

Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will use the nursing process to plan and deliver care, coordinate with families and the interdisciplinary team, and update physicians and supervisors on patient status.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; online certification not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and coordinate nursing care plans with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and team.
• Participate in discharge planning.

Job description

Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharge planning process.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

Desired Experience:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
