Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Omaha is seeking an RN for full-time 12-hour daytime shifts in Omaha, NE. The role offers a competitive hourly wage with a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The RN will manage admissions/transfers, conduct assessments, document findings, interpret labs/telemetry, and participate in rapid-response events, with ACLS within 6 months of hire. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license and BLS; ACLS required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license required.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Fulltime / 12-Hour Shifts / Days

Night shift also available

Compensation: $38.26-51.50 per hour (based on years of experience) with shift diff

Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000 for Fulltime Days
