Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital – North in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Day shift. The role involves patient-focused care on an inpatient rehab unit, with a 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM schedule and a compensation range of $37.90–$51.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include admissions/ transfers, daily assessments, EPIC documentation, telemetry interpretation, and coordination with a Nursing Assistant to meet individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• On each shift, partner with a Nursing Assistant and manage a feasible caseload.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document accurately using EPIC in a timely manner.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed correctly.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Responsibilities
