Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document patient information timely and accurately.
• Interpret assessment data, including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders competently.
• Be skilled in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
