PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of El Paso seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the inpatient unit, applying the nursing process and coordinating discharge planning and family teaching. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth transitions after hospitalization and access community resources.

Requirements include current RN licensure in the state (or compact) and BLS; ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of workplace or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment and must be AHA approved.
• Charge Nurses require ACLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Use the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care for patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning and post-hospitalization teaching.
• Assist with community resources and perform related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
