Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on our inpatient unit. You will plan, coordinate, and provide care, including discharge planning and family teaching.

Requires current RN licensure in the state, BLS and ACLS (ACLS for Charge Nurses). ACLS must be obtained within 90 days. One year inpatient med‑surgical experience preferred; full‑time benefits include comprehensive health plans and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post‑hospitalization.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurses (ACLS certification required). Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses. Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
