Job summary

PAM Health, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Las Vegas area hospital. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, the RN delivers, directs, and supervises patient care, coordinating interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

Applicants must hold current RN licensure in the state or a compact state, and have current BLS; ACLS certification is required within 90 days. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state where hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and connect patients with community resources.
• May perform additional duties including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
