AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide routine and complex patient care in collaboration with supervising physician. The role includes developing treatment plans, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, evidence-based care, and leadership in a multi-disciplinary team. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment, with tuition reimbursement terms and ESOP

AMG Specialty Hospital -Albuquerque is offeringa$10,000Sign-On Bonus*for a Full Time NursePractitioner for Thursday - Saturday shifts!

This position provides routine care and management ofpatients with complex chronic and acutely ill patients in collaboration withthe supervising physician. The Practitioner provides treatment for thepatients' current medical diagnoses as well as promotion of wellness andprevention of complications. Performs patient care management, consultation,admission, accurate and timely history and physicals, develops and directstreatment plan, ordering and interpreting of appropriate diagnostic tests,performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing medicationstimely discharge summaries, and assuring appropriate discharge planning andplacement. Assesses patients for change in status and institutes appropriateinterventions to manage the patient internally including necessary emergencyinterventions to stabilize the patient. Promotes evidence-based care guidelinesincluding sedation management, thrombosis prophylaxis, central line management,ventilator management and ventilator associated event prevention. Oversees thepatient's length of stay and discharge goals. Serves as a health careresource, a leadership consultant, an interdisciplinary consultant, a casemanagement consultant and a patient advocate.

*$10,000-Sign-OnBonusor Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an EmploymentAssistance Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.
